Well today started out as any other average day. I took my son to an appointment and then dropped him off at school. I did a couple errands and it was on my way home that I had an overwhelming urge to stop at our town library. I had been thinking about buying some books to help me along my metaphysical journey.
I walked in and the librarian asked if she could help me find something. I said I wasn’t sure exactly what it was I was looking for. She smiled and told me she knew how that was. I stood and stared at the rows of books in front of me and finally just walked down one. Sure enough it was the correct asile. It only took a few minutes to find the book I apparently was seeking, You Own the Power by Rosemary Altea. Ironically? Enough she is the same author I was led to last time I began this journey 13 years ago. Her book Proud Spirit was very inspiring to me and I can’t wait to begin reading this one.
As I was checking out my selections, the librarian asked if I was interested in the paranormal. I answered that I was and mentioned my adventure at Eastern State Penn. She told me about her family house that was built in the 1740’s and has been owned solely by her family. We tip toed around the subject, kind of feeling each other out on how much we believe in ghosts. We then started talking about how she records graveyards and is an archivist. I was fascinated so I offered my assistance any time she went out in the field to do so. We exchanged emails and she also gave me the names of two women here in town who do the same thing. I am so excited over this. I’m going to go to one of their presentations in November. Spirits were people too and it is their History that often keeps them earth bound.
